Daniel Tiffany in his essay Kitsching The Cantos, quotes Friedlander: "Cumulation is a characteristic of kitsch;" the language of kitsch is "one of accumulation, repetition and redundancy: a massive use of synonyms, an excess of similar epithets, a play of images sent back, in turn, from one to the other in echoes without end."
I'm thinking about growing this title more.
